From deep expertise in internal-combustion-engine emission control to developing environmental-monitoring robots, and from conventional testing gear to deployed dexterous-hand inspection hardware, Kailong Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. has stepped into embodied-intelligence and expanded its technical scope from environmental-protection hardware to intelligent-testing equipment.
Within just one year, China’s first dexterous-hand intelligent-testing system went live at its subsidiary Kaiqi Embodied Intelligence. The firm also contributed to drafting China’s first Technical Specification for Dexterous Hands for Humanoid-Robot Components and Assemblies, filling a critical gap for large-scale industrial adoption. It has also built a training facility for embodied-intelligence robots to ready dexterous hands for real-world deployment. Over 60 humanoid and quadruped robots are now undergoing training across more than ten real-use scenarios.
How can established manufacturers make their mark in embodied-intelligence? Leveraging a cluster of over 178 upstream-and-downstream enterprises and 13 robot-original-equipment manufacturers, Wuxi has built a full-value-chain ecosystem covering software R&D, product manufacturing, system integration and real-world deployment. Eight specialized industrial parks including the Huishan Humanoid-Robot Industrial Park pursue differentiated yet coordinated growth, rapidly building the city into an innovation hub for embodied-intelligence robotics.
