Reporters visited Wuxi, Jiangsu Province on July 21 as part of the 2026 Vibrant China Investigation Tour, a national media reporting initiative. At Wuxi Kaiqi’s training facility for embodied-intelligence robots, one unit demonstrated its “claw-game” skills. Built for object recognition, grasping and sorting, the robot acts as an automated sorter, separating and arranging fruits and plush toys. Down the line, it could even become a capable kitchen assistant.
